Located in the

Jennifer Steinkamp is an installation artist who works with video and new media in order to explore ideas about architectural space, motion, and perception. Orbit 8 is on view as part of A Sense of Place, an installation in the collection galleries that explores concepts of nature and beauty. Similar to other of Steinkamp’s videos, Orbit 8 offers a mesmerizing vision referencing the natural world. The video is presented courtesy of the artist and Lehmann Maupin, New York, Hong Kong, and Seoul.
