This spring the McNay presents the artwork of Dan Guerrero as part of the Artists Looking at Art series. Guerrero is the McNay’s Associate Registrar in addition to being a visual artist. The McNay Art Museum’s latest Artists Looking at Art (ALA) series features three paintings of objects re-presented with elements of religion and Pop/Hispanic culture.
The ALA series salutes the vitality of the contemporary art community in the San Antonio area. The McNay Contemporary Collectors Forum (MCCF) initiated the Artists Looking at Art series and jointly sponsors it with the McNay’s education department.
