From hobby to passion. Jeanne and Irving Mathews actively collected Art Nouveau and Art Deco glass from Paris flea markets in the 1960s. After the passing of Irving Mathews in 1994, Jeanne Lang Mathews gave their collection of more than 150 art glass examples to the McNay.
