Inspired by both the current exhibition Folk Pop: Victoria Suescum’s Tienditas (McNay) and the reopening of the Latin American Popular Art Galleries (San Antonio Museum of Art), two curators and one visual artist share perspectives on the spectrum of terms, spaces, challenges, and traditions on view.
