9:00 am – 11:00 am
Learn about exhibitions, workshops, and tours provided by the McNay Art Museum, the Witte Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art, and our new partner, The Doseum. Your San Antonio cultural institutions are committed to supporting teachers through distance learning and the new challenges that arise during this time of transition. Museums offer energizing online opportunities for students that allow them to travel “out-of-school.” Likewise, teachers can find connection and inspiration through workshops and online resources, videos, and lessons. Small groups rotate through engaging 25-minute sessions offered by each museum.
Teachers earn two hours of continuing education credit and are permitted to participate via video recording. Zoom link is provided via email two hours prior to the event.
Fee: $10 (non-refundable). For more information, email education@mcnayart.org.
Registration deadline: Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 pm
