Known for surreal photographs of multiplying animals, addictive snack food, and monochromatic interiors, Sandy Skoglund joins for a virtual conversation with McNay curators René Paul Barilleaux and Lauren Thompson. Skoglund’s artwork is featured in the current exhibition, Limitless! Five Women Reshape Contemporary Art, including two major three-dimensional installations each accompanied by large vivid, color photograph. In this conversation, Skoglund revisits her iconic photographs and explores the new body of artworks that recently emerged from the classic images.

Registration is required for this free program. Attendees receive a Zoom link to join via email two hours before the event. Email education@mcnayart.org or call 210.805.1768 if you have difficulty joining.
