Educators learn about the connections between STEM and ART in a three-day conference filled with lectures, gallery discussions, and hands-on workshops. Science, technology, engineering, and math are intrinsically linked to how art is made, cared for, and exhibited in art museums. Over three days, experiment with art processes, learn from experts, and explore work in the McNay’s collection and exhibitions.
Teachers earn 18 hours of continuing professional education credit for attending all three days. Space is limited and registration is required. Fee (includes lunch on Thursday, Museum admission, refreshments, workshop supplies, and lesson plans): McNay Members $80; nonmembers $100. For more information, email education@mcnayart.org.
