Educators will learn about the connections between STEAM and SEL in a two-day workshop filled with lectures, gallery discussions, and hands-on workshops. Science, technology, engineering, art, and math can offer opportunities for creative problem solving and social emotional development. Come experiment with art processes, learn from experts, and explore work in the McNay’s collection over brunch!
Teachers who attend will also have the opportunity to vote for our next Spotlight artist for 2023 – 2024.
Teachers earn 6 hours of continuing professional education credit for attending both days. Space is limited and registration is required. Fee (includes brunch on both days, Museum admission, refreshments, workshop supplies, and lesson plans): McNay Members $60; nonmembers $80. For more information, email education@mcnayart.org.
