Young artists engage in a full-day, deep dive workshop during Monday school holidays. Workshops combine creative play and imaginative problem-solving, in a hands-on studio environment. K-5 students get up close to Teresita Fernández’s installation Fire (United States of the Americas) 2 in the AT&T Lobby and other large-scale works on view.
McNay Fun Day is open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Workshop is in session from 9:30 am to 4 pm. Drop-off begins at 9 am and students must be picked up by 4:30 pm. Students bring their own lunches. Snack provided. Fee (includes memento and Museum admission): McNay members $80, nonmembers $100. A 20% discount is available for siblings and applies to the second and subsequent registration(s). Inquire by email at education@mcnayart.org.
