Our Hike the McNay series connects visitors to all of the beautiful outdoor artwork and nature on our grounds through various artistic avenues. On the Poetry Hike, we will be joined by local poet Linda Simone. Together, we will reflect on Philip Grausman’s Victoria through a series guided intuitive drawing and ekphrastic poetry exercises. Stools and materials provided.
This program will take place outdoors. Bottled water, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and a hat are all recommended. Check in will take place on the Museum lawn outside the front entrance.
