Join us for our last Hike the McNay, a series of programs in which participants use different creative tools to explore the museum’s luscious grounds. This final chapter will focus on architecture! We will start at the entrance of Marion McNay’s mansion and then move to the courtyard. At each site, museum educator, Emma Ryan will tell us a little bit about the design of Marion’s home. Then we will practice perspective and architectural drawing with guided instruction.
This two-hour program will take place outside with a short bathroom break between sites. Please bring bottled water, a hat, sunscreen, and anything else you may need to stay cool. Materials provided.
