Join renowned contemporary artist Sandy Skoglund for a hands-on educator workshop at the McNay Art Museum, held in conjunction with the exhibition Sandy Skoglund: Enchanting Nature.
Designed for teachers and education professionals, this interactive session offers an inside look at Skoglund’s imaginative process, inspired by her vibrant installation Fresh Hybrid (2008). Participants will explore installation art techniques by crafting their own panel with pipe cleaners under the artist’s guidance, and will leave with practical ideas for bringing installation concepts into the classroom. The workshop also includes a group photograph taken by Skoglund, providing a memorable keepsake of this unique learning experience.
Registration is full at this time. To join the waitlist, please email kambri.hernandez@mcnayart.org.
