As part of the O’ Powa O’ Meng: The Art and Legacy of Jody Folwell exhibition, mother-daughter artists Jody and Susan Folwell join scholar and curator Bruce Bernstein in a discussion about their family lineage and artistic process in Pueblo pottery. The talk will be followed by a book signing of the exhibition catalog.
O’ Powa O’ Meng: The Art and Legacy of Jody Folwell is organized by the Fralin Museum of Art and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Major funding for the national tour and exhibition catalogue is provided by the Terra Foundation for American Art. Curator-in-charge at the McNay Art Museum is Lauren Thompson, Curator of Exhibitions.
