It’s always been really important to me to be an artist. Once I realized that I could be an artist then that was the main goal in my life. I couldn’t imagine anything better than that. – Lance Letscher
Austin based artist, Lance Letscher, constructs dynamic dizzying designs that draw the viewer into infinite narratives. Letscher’s extraordinary work rouses movement through color, pattern, vigorous dreams, and childlike imagery. Letscher is joined in conversation by René Paul Barilleaux, Head of Curatorial Affairs at the McNay.
Registration is required for this free event; space is limited. This conversation takes place in person.
This lecture is a program of the Louis A. and Frances B. Wagner Lecture Series.
