Join us for the debut of Artfully Served: A McNay Supper Series — an inspired new fundraising initiative where exceptional art meets extraordinary cuisine. This immersive evening pairs remarkable works from our collection and exhibitions with the culinary brilliance of celebrated Texas chefs, creating a multi-sensory experience designed to delight, surprise, and inspire.

Our inaugural event coincides with the landmark exhibition untitled: 20 Years of Collecting Contemporary Art, offering guests the rare opportunity to engage with bold contemporary works while savoring thoughtfully crafted dishes that echo the creativity on view.

We are honored to feature Chef Danny Parada, Director of Restaurants for Pullman Market. With 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Danny brings remarkable drive and artistry to his work. He first joined Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group in 2015 at the opening of Emmer & Rye in Austin. Eager to refine his craft, he spent a year cooking in Sydney, Australia, followed by time in Chicago’s acclaimed Alinea and Lula Cafe, before returning to Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group. Today, he leads the culinary vision for Isidore, Nicosi, Mezquite, and Fife & Farro.

Under his leadership, these concepts have garnered significant recognition from the MICHELIN Guide. In the 2025 Texas Guide, Isidore earned both a MICHELIN Star and a MICHELIN Green Star, Nicosi was awarded a MICHELIN Star, and Mezquite received a Bib Gourmand distinction.

At the April 7 event, guests can expect an unforgettable evening of craft cocktails, curated tasting stations, exclusive access to the exhibition, and meaningful connections with fellow museum members, patrons, and community leaders.

Artfully Served is more than an event — it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and the transformative power of art and food shared together.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Artfully Served?

Artfully Served is a curated supper series at the McNay Art Museum that brings together exceptional chefs, art, and community. Each evening pairs a distinctive culinary experience with insights from McNay curators and the partner chef, creating an intimate and memorable night in support of the museum.

Where do the dinners take place?

All suppers take place at the McNay, hosted in our galleries and throughout the museum’s beautiful campus. Guests dine surrounded by art, making each evening a truly immersive experience.

Who are the chefs?

Each supper features a celebrated culinary partner. The inaugural evening highlights Chef Danny Parada, one of San Antonio’s first MICHELIN Star chefs. Additional chefs will be announced throughout the year.

How many guests attend each supper?

Each dinner is intentionally limited in size to create a personal and engaging atmosphere, with meaningful access to the chef, McNay curators, and the culinary and visual arts.

Will there be a Gala in 2026?

Artfully Served is our signature fundraising experience. This series reflects an exciting evolution in how we gather our community—offering multiple, intimate evenings that deepen connection to art, hospitality, and philanthropy.

Can I buy tickets for more than one supper?

Yes. Guests are welcome to attend more than one evening, subject to availability.

Two of the three suppers each year will be available exclusively to Patron-level Members and above. We encourage those interested to consider joining or upgrading their membership to the Patron level or higher.

How does my ticket support the McNay?

Proceeds from Artfully Served directly support the McNay’s mission: its exhibitions, education programs, and stewardship of the collection.
