Grounds Picnicking Guidelines
The grounds of the museum are open to the public for picnicking by small groups during the designated hours listed above and in areas that are not scheduled for museum use. Picnickers must conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb others, does not interfere with the display of outdoor art, does not damage property, and does not create a safety hazard. Alcohol, cooking, and open fires are prohibited.

Food Services
The museum has a vending area adjacent to the patio where visitors may purchase cold drinks and snacks. The surrounding area also offers a variety of restaurants and the McNay staff will be happy to direct you.

Manners at the McNay
Please help us take care of the works of art on display in the museum and on the grounds by not touching them and staying at least 12 inches away. And, please view our Grounds Photography Guidelines for protocol and regulations before your visit. A non-smoking policy is strictly enforced within the Museum.
