Contemporary Crash Course: Andy Campbell presents For Anyone? For Anyone!

Art critic Jerry Saltz wrote in response to a skeptic of contemporary art, “Art is for anyone. It just isn’t for everyone.” For the art-curious and expert alike, this whirlwind introduction tackles recent issues—from appropriation to digital performance—setting the stage for works on view in Majority Rules: A Decade of Contemporary Art Acquisitions. Andy Campbell, PhD, Texas State University, San Marcos, teaches courses on contemporary art, feminism, and queer visual culture.

Join us following the Contemporary Crash Course for sloan/hall's I Love Rock-N-Roll Party! sloan/hall graciously offers 10% of their evening's sales to the McNay Art Museum.
