Educator Workshop: Saturday Social Saturday, December 1, 10:30 am–1:30 pm, throughout the museum
Bee piles, guitars, and wedding dresses have more in common than meets the eye. Three art educators present lessons that hinge on works of art expressing issues of social significance. See works from Estampas de la Raza: Contemporary Prints from the Romo Collection, Songs of Social Significance: Designs from the Tobin Collection, and investigate 2012–2013 Spotlight work Sing Sorrow, by Ben Shahn.
