Matisse and Picasso: A Friendly Rivalry
June 18 | August 10, 2014

Sourced from the McNay’s rich holdings of Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse, this exhibition features works from both 20th-century artists in all media, including paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, and theatre designs. Juxtaposing the two visionaries’ unique styles, this exhibition allows visitors to draw their own comparisons and conclusions about the artists and their influence on one another.

This exhibition is organized by the McNay Art Museum.
