Art + Present: Gifts from the Peter Norton Family

Since 1988 collector and software entrepreneur Peter Norton has commissioned an artist in the Nortons’ collection to create an edition in the thousands to celebrate the holiday season. The Norton Family sends these objects as holiday gifts to friends and members of the art community. In 1994 the McNay began to receive these objects from the Norton Family. Art + Present presents these 17 works by a wide range of contemporary artists including Anna Gaskell, Christian Marclay, Vik Muniz, Takashi Murakami, Yinka Shonibare, and Kara Walker.
