Theme 4: The Great Outdoors: People at Play
December 6-20
Focus on impressive landscapes and submit your best efforts to an online digital photography contest inspired by Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism. Check each month for the theme will determined by a signature landscape from the exhibition. Use the painting and theme for inspiration and submit your best landscape shot.
Prizes
For each theme (month), a winner receives a McNay membership, a free one-year subscription to Texas Highways , free admission for six adults to Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism, and display of winning photograph on flat screens in the AT&T Lobby and on the McNay Web site. Entries are judged on relevance to theme, compositional interest, and technical quality.
René Paul Barilleaux, Chief Curator/Curator of Art after 1945, selects the winning photograph for each theme.

Submitting a Photo
1. Join Flickr for free.
2. Upload your photos (see help on Flickr.com).
3. Join PictureNature Group.
4. Add photo to the Group Pool (see help on Flickr.com).
5. Tag your photos (see help on Flickr.com).
6. Add the McNay Art Museum as a friend to receive contest results.
