This summer, music reigns supreme at the McNay in celebration of the exhibition Beauty Reigns: A Baroque Sensibility in Recent Painting. For its fifth year, the Summer Jazz & Lunch Series continues its tradition of presenting San Antonio’s finest jazz bands, as well as a special 60th Anniversary performance by Austin-based singer-songwriter Suzi Stern. Spend Sunday afternoon away from the summer heat while enjoying superb performances and gourmet box lunches and drinks crafted by Fresh Horizons Catering and the Jingu House.

Henry Brun and the International Trio

A summer staple, the International Trio, led by Henry Brun, celebrates San Antonio’s Hispanic heritage with a lively Latin music repertoire. Enjoy rhythms from Puerto Rico to Brazil with bass, guitar, and percussion instruments.
Limited number of lunches are available for purchase at the event.
Summer Jazz Concerts are free with museum admission. Box lunches: McNay members $13; nonmembers $15. Alcoholic beverages available for purchase at cash bar. No reservations needed. Seating is first come, first served basis.
