Stop-motion Film Fest: Frankenweenie

Dress in your best costume and join us for a ghoulishly good time with this special outdoor showing of Tim Burton’s Halloween classic. Tours at 6:00 and 6:30 pm of The Nightmare Before Christmas exhibition will precede the film. Halloween treats will also be served. Based on a 1984 short, Frankenweenie tells the story of young Victor Frankenstein, a budding scientist in new Holland. Find out what happens when Victor conducts an expeiment to bring his dog Sparky back from the dead. Stop-motion Film Fest: The Nightmare Before Christmas (Double Feature!)

A family favorite exhibition, The Nightmare Before Christmas, is on view in the Tobin Theatre Arts Galleries. Celebrate this film and stop-motion animation with a three-part Tim Burton series! Tours of the exhibitions at 2:00 & 6:00 pm and movie snacks at 2:30 and 6:30 pm will precede the feature film. All ages welcome. Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, stumbles into Christmas Town. He is so taken with the holiday he kidnaps "Sandy Claws" in an effort to recreate Christmas in the ghoulish image of Halloween.
