Julie Johnson, Associate Professor of Art History at The University of Texas at San Antonio, examines Klee’s legacy as a teacher of courses ranging from glass to weaving at the Bauhaus, and the afterlife of his reputation and works. Of special interest is Friedl Dicker-Brandeis, one of his first students, who went on to use Bauhaus teaching methods at the Terezín concentration camp.
