Thursday, November 30, 2017 - 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Project Runway alum and Project Runway All Stars winner Mondo Guerra joins us for a conversation on the eve of World AIDS Day and Day Without Art (An International Day of Action and Mourning in Response to the AIDS Crisis). Mondo’s innovative style and bold prints carry a social message that blends with his art and advocacy.
The Denver-born artist was commissioned by Subaru of America to create a custom vehicle design to commemorate World AIDS Day 2015, and he continues to support a variety of LGBTQ initiatives through his message of Pozitivity. Emily Spicer, San Antonio Express-News features editor and The Spice of Life columnist, interviews Mondo about his personal narrative, HIV advocacy, Project Runway, and more.
